The Importance Of An Interior Construction Timeline
Your Interior Construction Timeline shows the order in which various items are purchased and installed. Each stage of the build process is represented by a tile. As you progress through the plan, you can see the tile that has been placed as you complete each section of your project. This provides a great reference when you re-build your home…
An easy to use and printable Home Builders Planner can help you keep track of your progress in an organized manner. You can download your home construction timeline in JPEG or PDF format from the links below. Each page of the process timeline is fully customizable. Choose which format you would like to download, then simply print it out on a quality paper.
To download your free home building timeline in JPEG or PDF format, simply visit one of the links below. Your selected file will be downloaded and you may save it to your computer for future reference. If you are unsure how to use the buttons or menus that will be displayed, you may refer to the instructions provided in the “getting started” section below. Each piece of information you will be shown includes: general project information, materials list, estimate, phases of construction and budget overview.
Your Interior construction timeline can also be converted into a PDF file
To do this, copy and paste the desired images or graphics from your computer into a text editor. Next, right click on the image and choose “Paste As” to save the file as a PDF. When you have completed this step, you may now download your chosen JPEG or PDF version of your home build timeline. When you are finished, you will notice that your download is very slow.
To speed up your download, you may consider purchasing an inexpensive software program that will convert your project details into a more compact format. This type of software should be compatible with all types of Operating Systems. Be sure that your selected software product has the same options that you currently have for downloading images and graphics. In order to speed up the process, open the software program and select the “PDF” option.
With your chosen software program, you should be able to see your project on a large screen with a large font. Select “print” to create a hard copy version of your project, which you will then need to present to your project manager. In addition, make sure that your project manager knows where he/she can find your work. Your project manager may not be familiar with the software you are using to download images or graphics. If this is the case, provide your manager with directions for finding the files you need.
If your project manager is not comfortable using some of the software tools
You may consider providing him/her with some of the tools necessary. For example, if your software provides images, you may want to provide your project manager with a digital image of your project, with or without text. Include any special notes or observations about the project in the document so that your project manager can keep everything in order. For example, you may note that certain walls or areas of the room need to have certain treatments applied. Include this information in the software document, along with a list of those materials and their required application.
Having accurate time estimates is important when it comes to laying out the timeline of your project. However, many contractors become lax on these timescales and the project gets behind schedule…sometimes by far. When contractors do not have the required detail or timing for each phase of the project, they often make assumptions about how long certain tasks will take or what will need to be done. To avoid such costly delays and mistakes, be sure to include a project manager on all of your project details…including the timeline.
